  Hello designers. Thank you all so much for your hard work and ideas. As you can see, BDesign has won the contest. His concept was absolutely perfect for what I was looking for and he exceeded my expectations with it. Good Luck on future contests, this site is pretty cool and I'll prob use it in the future. :)

  Oh, and please make sure the foot is out at the piano - nobody sits or stands at a piano with square feet - they have one foot in - And please don't submit anything from a front or side view - Grand Pianos look much sexier and appealing angled and lid OPEN. Keep checking back here while I continue to give my thoughts.

  ATTENTION: Scratch everything I have said below. Check out these URL's please. Use them as inspiration - I want nothing cartoon like, nothing comedical and nothing 'cute' I want something that can work well as a website banner but also can be skimmed down into a logo for a flyer or for business cards, advertisement slot on a webpage etc. I run a fine arts studio specializing in private music / piano instruction and I take what I do seriously - design should be detailed , sophisticated, captivating and well blended. If designers are serious about winning this contest, you should do what one designer just did. He has so far submitted 10 completely different styles - Totally totally different styles - All unique and characteristic. All very well done without need to make corrections. 10 of them. I would recommend everyone else doing the same if you want a chance to win.   If designers are serious about winning this contest, you should do what one designer just did.   Attention designers. I am not a big fan of thick font styles or 'bubble ' or 'cartoon' font styles. Keep the business name clean / simplistic / regular font - and let the surrounding artwork speak for itself with color and artistry :)

  #45, could you please send me in some more very very quickly thrown together rough drafts that are similar but show highly different Font and Font Color Choices? Could you also try making her hair swirl back a bit more and add some more colors - make the colors BURST - also see what would happen if you have her standing up while playing and show more detail where the piano keys / keyboard itself would come out from the piano. Then perhaps we could work off from there - And see if we could create that double sided effect I mentioned - where the right side blends into classical / formal / sophisticated. But really, remember quick and rough drafts - I don't want you spending too much time on detail yet :)

  Who wants to try this out? Left half wild crazy liberal with punk / rock looking girl (tasteful of course, don't make her look like a sleaze heh) and then the right half totally 2 faced - Formal, Classical and Proper. I would be very excited to see this type of design. Very!

  I also changed my mind about requesting hand drawn designs! You can submit hand drawn stuff of course! But don't get too caught up with it! I want to see lots of variety, artistic color combinations (I like the colorful ones with red, yellow, blue, etc)

  Some good submissions so far, I am very excited. I have decided I want a piano and two children or a child / adult at the piano within the logo. Be creative - I am enjoying the 'hand sketched' looking ones that have colorful hints more than the bright / shiny / lots of color ones. I will make certain to privately message any submission designer and give them my thoughts so you can all get creative but not steal off each others artwork.

  Draft # 3, 4, 5 - I do like simplistic artistry but I think for $300 , I would probably pick another one - Although I like the start of it. Thank you so much for the idea.

  Draft #2, I think you put a decent thought into the design and I appreciate that, but I think it might be a little too 'aggressive' - If you replaced my business with 'Build Muscle Fast' and the piano with a benchpress I think it would be great for that business. ;)

  Design drafts #2, #3, #4, #5, I think it would be GREAT to have a little illustration of an actual child (preferably female since most of my students are female) or of an Adult / Child next to each other with the Adults hands seemingly 'guiding' the child. Anything that draws out the emotion that says 'hey , that could be me' or 'hey, that could be MY child' - Make it look like they are having FUN! :) (I know, I'm so difficult heh)

  As compared to draft #1, I think that concept would go well with many Piano Studios, but I would rather my Company Name be more Prominent - And also Spelled correctly :P
