  Thank you for pointing that out, @canastasi. We do want to make sure we avoid any copyright or trademark infringement, guys. I've seen some designs that are very reminiscent of the Enron logo or Dell's sideways E. I've also seen items that look a lot like some of our competitors' logos, such as CellularSouth or Windstream Communications. Since we will be deploying the winning logo throughout our company, we have to be especially careful not to step on anyone else's ideas. Thanks guys, and keep up the great work for another 3 days!

  Ok guys, as before, some really great stuff here, and I think I've got some collective feedback for all of you. First off, we really like what you guys are showing us with symbols and icons based around the "M3" motif, but we wonder what design ideas might be out there that aren't based around that. Remember that three is the number of core services that we have: TV, Internet, and Phone. Maybe something can be done that might incorporate those things, and move us away from the imagery of the actual number itself. Also, we really like seeing ideas involving more colors than our existing red, so feel free to experiment with colors to your heart's desires. And finally, while we have considered making a 'veiled' project, we feel that there's not necessarily a problem with artists drawing inspiration from one another. We are of course committed to originality and individuality (that is after all what logos are all about), and we would gladly hear any case in the unlikely event of a copyright dispute, but for now we like things as they are. Thank you all so much for your submissions, questions, and enthusiasm! We're just now 2 days into the project and we hope the remaining 7 are just as exciting!

  Also... As I mentioned earlier, our management team is in town today and we've agreed to sit down and look at some of the noteworthy designs so far. So you all should be getting some individual feedback on your designs if you hang out for a few more hours.

  Hey guys, the project is now guaranteed! We've had this contest open for about 24 hours now, and we've seen excellent turnout with some great ideas thus far. We can't wait to see what the next 9 days will bring! Keep up the great work!
