This is one of the oldest building in cdm (corona del Mar CA). Cdm is a small, nice, local, & old $ beach area in CA between Newport and Laguna Beach. 1920's. Cottage style house turned into a beauty salon. Previous owners (velmas &Co salon) were in business for 40+yrs. (Clients are now in their 90's)
They been coming in for the last 40yrs same time and day to get their hair set old school way. I'm taking over the lease and revamping it with a name change and bringing in a younger crew while still keeping it the same cozy cottage feeling of the salon. One of the previous stylist is staying with me. She's in her 70's. We will still have the older clientele. Image the salon with a steel magnolia feeling. There's a fireplace. It used to be a bed and breakfast in the 1920s. I need a logo/sign to revamp and attract pedestrian since Velma has been there for so long. It's a area where everyone walk through the neighborhood. Hair , nails, waxingredients, eyelashes...
