We are a residential home builder in western North Carolina. We build homes that fit in a mountain setting like log homes or homes made of other natural materials like cedar Shake and stone. Our customers are generally older and are building a home to retire to or a 2nd home they use part of the year. We as a company are trying to position our brand around building homes that support a simpler lifestyle. A lifestyle that is more relaxed and connected to nature. To that end, we would like to include elements in our logo that represent nature and perhaps even activities conducted in nature. Elements that may make sense to include may be mountains, rivers, trees or forest, canoeing, and sunsets. Please use your imagination to create something original that fits our vision. It may also make sense to include a silhouette of a roofline or house somehow.

One thing we in particular are looking for is a logo that will replace the logo on our website worldoutoors.com. It is largely a dark colored website so want something that will look good there. We are also needing a logo with colors that will work on a light colored background like crime or white.
