the logo represents the science and medical connection to girls and women with Turner syndrome. Turner syndrome is well known as TS. TS is represented by a butterfly figure and a X or X chromosome. Our mission is to connect science, resources, and funding to the Turner Syndrome community. We want to distinguish ourselves from Turner Syndrome Society of the United States www.tssus.org and the Turner Syndrome Foundation www.turnersyndromefoundation.org We need a logo represents us well in the scientific world (researchers, funders) but that girls, women, and families with TS can still identify with. We don't want too many colors because we want to be able to print affordably. We definitely want a purple and or shades of purple (not lavender). Refer to the colors of the other two organizations above (blue, pink, bright green are their primary colors), so we need to not have those as our primary color and if we used those colors they need to be a variation.
