Wayne County Oral Health Coalition is a coalition based in Detroit, Michigan that focuses on advocating for community and legislative change for oral health policy, Medicare/Medicaid advancement, and social justice. The organization does work with faith-based organizations and has some foundation in Christianity. Our mission statement is "WCOHC is dedicated to the mission of educating and advocating for the vulnerable and underserved populations to have equitable access to quality affordable oral health that improve overall health and social justice". 2nd Corinthians 8:14 which states "At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality," is a fundamental core of who we are, what we represent, and what we aim to accomplish
