Logo for new Artist Management company in Toronto
The6 Arts
Artist Management
Yes
What does your business do?: Artist Management and Booking Agency
What Do You Want Your Site To Accomplish?: Learn more about the artists and myself, and establish a relationship of trust
What makes your company remarkable?: 18 years of relationships in the music business. Working with a musician as an agent means that artists are protected, but I "get" what it is to be a presenter
Who exactly are your customers and what “pains” are you solving for them?: Arts presenters - concert promoters - need to book artists that will fill seats easily. make them "want" to work with us because it's easy. supplying musicians for private events - need a cocktail piano player, we've got you covered
Business Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Company Name Rationale: The6 Arts was evolved from “The6” being the slang reference for the city of Toronto. Drake mentions The6 in a recent album.
SPECIFICATIONS ON LOGO:
It is important that the6 portrays Toronto in the design of the logo. One idea that is instantly synonymous with Toronto is the iconic CN Tower
Flexible to see various designs with different upper and lower case treatment.
No particular colour preference, but do avoid bright and flashy.
A combination of a modern and heritage vibe - something that could look like it’s out of the 40s perhaps (i.e. a throwback to that). I tend to wear a black fedora and have a jazzy vibe in general. Also, so far, most of the artists/clients that I’ll be working with have a bit of a jazz thing going on, so while I want it to be appropriate for all kinds of artists, I want it to feel like a match
I want it to feel established, professional and the real deal. No nonsense or bullshit…
