I am the franchisee for MusIQ Club in a particular geographic area. MusIQ Club is an award-winning method of teaching people to read music and play piano. We offer lessons in group settings, facilitated by highly qualified piano teachers using interactive software and electronic piano keyboards. We teach students of ages 3 to 93.
The logo for the Music Learning Institute should immediately combine music and learning so that people who see my logo will understand that my organization brings music and learning together.
The focus of my current offerings involves piano, but I want the logo to represent a fresh new approach to learning how to play and read music.

I like blues and greens, however, I am not opposed to black/white/grey either, since both music and piano keyboards are black and white.

Since I am a franchisee, I will be using the MusIQ Club logo in some of my communications. My logo should be complimentary to the MusIQ logo. I will attach that logo for your reference.
I am a great fan of using dark backgrounds in documents and probably my website as well. Therefore, the logo should work just as well on a dark background as it does on a white background.
When I was looking at some of the other websites with "canned" logo images, the available images for pianos and music were boring and a bit juvenile. I want my logo to convey a modern twist on a very traditional business - learning how to play piano and read music.
