DC Rental Concierge

No

DC Rental Concierge is a full-service rental search and matching company in Washington, DC. We cater to professional, executive, and federal clients, but the company is a startup. The owner is a young mom, so I'd like something modern and hip. Maybe even a little playful but polished. I like the idea of using imagery that reflects the DC area as a part of the design, but I'm open to not including it.

Check out my website www.househuntconcierge.com for info on the company.

One idea was to use the DC representative image in the background with the "home locator" imagery overlapping (Think, DC map outline, with a location point, or house in the middle). This is just one idea and I'd like to see others.

I am seeing some really great designs, but there is still nothing with the feminine style/look that I am hoping for. I know it is hard to describe, but I want something with a softer feel. I'm looking for a logo that you could see and say "a woman owns that company" just by seeing the logo. I did a google search for "feminine logos" and this is the link: https://www.google.com/search?q=monochromatic+logo&rlz=1C1CHFX_enUS525US525&espv=2&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=TDXiU9yPJ5WhyASw7oGwBw&ved=0CB8QsAQ&biw=1366&bih=643#q=feminine+logo&tbm=isch&imgdii=_ As you can see, the fonts are very flowy, there are a lot of pastel colors and embellishments. Most of these logos have a very "soft" feel. I know someone out there can do it! Please let me know if you have questions or if there is anything I can do to explain it better. Remember, I am not set on the colors and design idea I mentioned...they are just suggestions. THANK YOU!

Hi Everyone, Thank you for your submissions so far! Here is a little more information that might be helpful: 1. I'm in the process of moving my main website to www.dcrentalconcierge.com. This logo would be used at the top of the page in place of "House Hunt Concierge" 2. I like the color teal that is on the new page (#7ebec5), and I'd be interested in seeing variants of that color (lighter and darker) as well as dark gray and the burnt orange that is currently being used for the "House Hunt Concierge" text, and found in the brick in the main website image. 3. I would like something that has a feminine feel, so that is why I mentioned script font. If you are still unsure what I mean by this, send me a message and I will send you a few examples that I really like. 4. I'd like the logo to incorporate some type of imagery. Either the US Capitol building, the DC map, or a house. Here are a couple examples of the DC Capitol building: http://d1435t697bgi2o.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/capitol-silhouette.jpg http://architecturaltrust.org/~architec/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/US-Capitol.jpg http://www.clker.com/cliparts/f/b/3/3/11949837751080925187us_capitol_building_cli_01.svg.hi.png This is an example of the Washington DC map: http://watermarked.cutcaster.com/cutcaster-photo-100202098-Washington-DC-Map.jpg I hope this information is helpful. I don't want to restrict your ideas too much, so if you have another really good idea that falls outside of these guidelines, please submit it anyway! Thanks!

Thank you for the designs so far. As an additional note, I really like the designs that are more feminine and a little more casual/playful. Similar to my website (www.househuntconcierge.com), I would be interested in seeing a logo with script lettering. Thank you!
