We would like colors for children to be used (primary colors, or orange or green). Please see color samples on our website background at devicesforkids.org

not sure

Since our company is based in Austin, TX we are interested in the possibility of incorporating native species (such as bluebonnets, caterpillars, or both), but are open to your unique ideas. We suggest looking at logos of different children’s hospitals and foundations to avoid copy-cat logos.

#24 > Sorry, I thought it's a foundation for children, not insects, animals, flowers, plants ...

#25 & #27: How would your design look without a caterpillar (just the flower)? Also, could you make your font more playful (as if it were written by a kid) and more uniform (all the same size)? We'd also like the words to be a bit darker to stand out more, if possible. #33: We really like where you're going with this, and like the crayon feel. Is there any way you could make the colors more saturated or fill in the caterpillar? It is difficult to see/stand out from afar.

#20: We like your concept, but the shapes look a little dated. Would you consider blending the shapes more (probably eliminating the outlines) and using more vibrant/saturated colors? #21, #22, and #23: It is difficult to read the words in #23 and separate the logo from the words in the other designs, but we like that you have focused on the word "Children". Would you consider combining some of these logo shapes into one design, completely separate from the words? #24: We are hoping for more natural shapes (insects, animals, flowers, plants) rather than humans. #25: We really like where you are going with this design and like your focus on the word "Children"! But your design is a bit confusing. Would you consider separating the insect/animal design from the flower/plant design? We love the vibrant colors! We also want you designers to consider the possibility of making your designs look as though they were designed by children (both the logo image and words). Please feel free to look at our website -- devicesforkids.org -- for ideas on images and colors.

Designers, thank you very much for your submissions thus far. We are hoping for more natural designs (think: caterpillars and bluebonnets) as opposed to the abstract shapes submitted so far. Some of these abstract submissions are also too similar to designs of other logos (esp. #2, #3, and #4). We are also hoping for more natural or primary colors (green, blue, red, yellow, etc.), not pink such as in #4, #5, #6, #7, and #8. As for #11, #12, #13, #14, #15, #16, #17, and #18, we are hoping for an image logo independent of the words "Medical Foundation for Children", so the image may stand alone without the words. Also, the rainbow and ombre motifs will be very difficult to print. We encourage you to use as many colors as you'd like, but ask that you find a way to distinguish the colors more easily.

Attention Designers, MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you show 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if that draft gets finalized, each color version is separated before final files are sent out. Thanks, MB/LDG Team
