OUR STORY
We believe in being resourceful with what you have. We believe sometimes a little can become a lot. We do this by creating beautifully designed, handmade cutting boards that are environmentally friendly.
CORE VALUES
These core values illustrate our culture, enthusiasm and commitment to our work and life. These are not values that change from situation to situation but rather they are the backbone of who we are. They keep us focused and help us make decisions about every facet of our work.
DO MORE WITH LESS
be cleverly inventive, resourcefulness leads to creative innovation
FIND PASSION & PURPOSE
what you do today should get you closer to where you want to be tomorrow
BE HUMBLE, BE BRAVE, BE RESPONSIBLE
never stop learning, don’t be afraid to fail, leave something beautiful behind
ABOUT
Located in Seattle, Timber Board handcrafts hardwood cutting boards that are environmentally friendly. Our wood cutting boards are made from re-purposed, unused scrap hardwoods called offcuts. An offcut is a piece of wood that remains after a larger piece is removed. These pieces are typically discarded. We partner with local professionals such as cabinetmakers, furniture craftsmen and specialty contractors to reduce waste and re-purpose these hardwoods. Timber Board sources the unused scrap hardwood and turns it into beautiful handcrafted wood cutting boards making each one of a kind. Our business grew from the result of a love for fine woodworking, carpentry and an inclination to reduce waste through creative reuse.

We'd like to able to take the logo and brand it onto the side of the board like Boos Block and Williams-Sonoma do with their cutting boards.
