Clepper Creek Restoration

Yes

This logo will be for a home decor/furniture restoration/DIY crafting blog/company that I'm starting. Alongside restoring old pieces and breathing new life into them, I plan to blog about not only my literal journey through restoring these pieces, but my figurative journey of restoring myself through this outlet (double therapy!). I really want a blend of rural meets urban: I grew up in a small farming town and there's a road by the name of Clepper Creek that is my most magical and sacred spot. I've lived in Chicago for 15 years now and call it home and absolutely love being in an urban environment.
The logo represents the blending of old & new, country & urban, and conveys the journey of restoration.

Rustic

I really see this as very clean, crisp, simple. Leaning toward basic black or grey and white.

Do's: I'd love to see a wood grain element, whether that be behind or as part of the lettering. Also, Beech Trees and a creek are symbolic of Clepper Creek, so maybe an element of either a tree behind the words or a creek could be really cool. But I don't want a blend of all 3 - wood grain/tree/creek. I'd like to see them all separately.

Also possibly incorporation of a PLAID pattern or element might be interesting

Font Style: Possibly the words "Clepper Creek" in a more rustic font, vs. "Restoration" in a more modern/urban font and feel.

Dont's: No barns, no "super country" feel and no city skyline. Just a hint of rustic i.e. the possible wood grain element to tie in with the idea of rustic meets urban.
