Describe who/what this design is about

In this study, patients will be given medication to treat GI diseases. These patients will be switching from their old medication to the new medication. Some patients may be starting this type of medication for the first time. The medication is a big advancement for GI diseases, so I am thinking about images that convey progress, moving forward, switching to something new, an improvement in treatment, and lower costs.

For some reason I have an image of arrows in my head, and maybe intertwining lines (to symbolize switching back and forth), but don't get stuck on that. I always like different ideas and perspectives.
