Logo for a car dealership
South Trail Chrysler
Yes
We a re part of a large group of automotive dealerships in Canada and are currently building 6 additional dealers, the first one opening in 2016. The location is going to be known as "South Trail Auto Mall" and the first dealership opening will be South Trail Chrysler (the logo this contest is based on). For reference, the group website is http://www.mcmanesautomotive.com/ and the owner really likes a simple design like the one at his flagship store "Eastside Dodge" www.eastsidedodge.ca . That being said, we would like to know if there's room to include the names of all brands we will represent (like the Eastside Dodge logo with the brands on the bottom), they are: Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram & Fiat.

the owner really likes black, red and white as is the current logo for Eastside Dodge, but I would be open to including blue or another highlight color in the mix just as long as the color appears in the logo of one of the brands we carry. (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat).

It needs to be simple because the logo is also used to brand the vehicles we sell and our current logo is also printed on a 5" x 1 1/4" sticker and attached to the rear end of the vehicle prior to it being sold. Typically these "branding" stickers are are not too big, but big enough that someone can read the dealer name if you are driving behind that vehicle.
I would be interested in seeing if there's any way you can incorporate "South Trail" as a logo and then add the main brand "Chrysler" beside it and the remaining brands "Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat" underneath it?? Or something along the lines of Eastside Dodge's logo? Or something completely different? South could be something pointing down? Trail could maybe indicate a road or something? The main dealership name will be known locally as South Trail Chrysler but the registered name will be South Trail Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat Inc.
I hope this helps.
