Creative Brief

Keweenaw Heartlands Park

Keweenaw Heartlands Park

No

What is it:
Keweenaw Heartlands Park is the proposed name for what could become the 3rd largest public outdoor recreational park and campgrounds in the State of Michigan.

Scope of work:
www.KeweenawHeartlands.com needs a world-class and yet minimalistic logo that can look nice on the website, large format outdoor recreational park signs, employee uniforms/attire, etc. This 51+ square miles of land deserves to be preserved along with its natural resources and rich history, to be preserved and responsibly managed as a fully functional, self-sustaining and forever-collaborative park. We would like our logo to portray this.

Our Brand:
Preservation, Conservation, Collaboration, Diversity, Education, History, Family-Oriented, Distinguished, Scholarly, Professional, Quality, Science, Copper Country, Keweenaw, Authentic, Integrity, Strong

Our Community:
The Keweenaw Heartlands Park is located mostly in Keweenaw County within the Keweenaw Peninsula of the State of Michigan, a world-renowned destination and tourist place with an ancient heritage in copper mining dating back thousands of years to the Bronze Age as well as a substantial logging and fishing history. It’s remote and family friendly and one that’s built on pride of the heritage.

Colors:
We’re flexible but tend to favor monochrome FOREST GREEN, METALLIC COPPER, BROWN, WATER BLUE, and complimentary hues, etc.

Fonts:
No preference but easily legible and visible on a wide range of content

Comments:
It might be interesting for the logo itself to be a pictorial of a large park entrance sign with tree logs as posts.
