Creative Brief

Facebook and Twitter Design (based on existing company logo)

MyForeignLanguageTutor.com — Your Passport to the World

Your Passport to the World

Yes

We are a foreign language tutoring service. We bring together native speakers of foreign languages and students wishing to learn a foreign language. Tutors and student meet via Skype; all teaching is done online using shared materials. Both tutor and student look and follow the same foreign language materials, such as a course textbook.
Our website and logo: https://myforeignlanguagetutor.com
We need 4 designs (2 for Facebook and 2 for Twitter) but since those images are similar on those two different platforms, they may be similar in design (but they don’t have to be identical).
Note that the Facebook cover photo (that’s the larger of the two) and the Twitter header photo (that the larger of the two) are both rectangular in shape. The smaller images on Facebook and Twitter are square in shape.
FACEBOOK: Two images: the large rectangular one (828 x315 pixels) and the smaller square one (160x160 pixels).
TWITTER: Two images: the large rectangular one (1500x500 pixels) and the smaller square one (400x400 pixels).
THE DESIGN:(1) Try to have the design match the look and feel of our home page, including logo and main images: simple, clean and positive.(2) Try to impart a global look and feel.(3) On the home page there 4 rectangular images of people (tutors) that fade. We might consider using that approach to the larger rectangular images on Facebook and Twitter. Those images have been uploaded to the creative brief.(4) Another approach might be to use a world map for the larger rectangular images on Facebook and Twitter. But if a map is used, it should match the look and feel of the our home page.
