Drink Specials Mobile App logo

Let's Drink

drink & food specials. anytime. anywhere

No

We are in need of a new logo for an emerging mobile application for iPhone. This app will allow people in the local area to look up and find all of the drink and food specials for any given day of the week.

The official name is Let's Drink DM or Let's Drink Des Moines. Try both and see what works best with your design. We haven't decided on one or the other but may base that decision off logo concepts. The idea is that if this spreads we can just change the city of the name.

We have uploaded the original logo we were going to use as a starting point. It is not necessary to mimic the city skyline. Again, we want the flexibility of being able to change the city name so prefer something that could work anywhere.

This logo needs to be created for print material in addition to one that will be recognizable as an application icon (2 similar designs). The app icon dimensions must adhere to 114 x 114 pixels for high resolution display.

We have also uploaded an image that we found that has the type of "look and feel" that we would like to target.

The target market for this application is 21-35 year old young professionals.

Sumit128, can you take the bottle cap from the far right of #9 and add it to #25 with the design of #25? We like the app icon the way it is but think the bottle cap by itself would be great for marketing materials. Thanks! Hope this makes sense.

We really like the icons from #8 as well as the screenshot. However, we are not sure about the i in Drink. It looks like an upside down bottle but could also be an exclamation? Is this correct? Might be confusing to customers. We love #9 and the direction you've taken it. We like the font that you've used and it looks like the mobile icon (yellow one) would work well. It isn't as easy to read as those in #8 however. We'd like to see the combination of #8 with the font from #9.

We like the direction #5 is going but would like to see you expand the idea a little. It might be a bit too basic for us. Was this your idea for the app icon or overall logo? We definitely like the concept. We also like the font that was used in #3 but the background design seems off. Can you try refining a bit or try something different using the same font? How would this translate into a mobile icon?
