Dark Coast Studios is a video Production Company located in Ventura, CA. We film movies, live performances and webisodes. Ventura is a coastal town overlooking the Channel Islands. We are looking to expand into producing more Movies in the coming year.

I am partial to darker colors like black and dark red, but I am not very worried about the colors in the logo.

Like I've said, if you could find a creative way to incorporate the coastline and/or Channel Islands, that is one of the main things I would like to see, but I am very open to lots of options. Possibly incorporating things like lighting effects could be nice, lens flare or things of that nature. I'm really the most interested to see what things people come up with after just hearing the name Dark Coast Studios. Looking forward to it.

    Draft #9: I just noticed the font is also different, and I prefer the font used in Draft #9 to the one used in Draft #2.

    Draft #9: I think that sun rays are an improvement from Draft #2. The clouds though look pretty good looking at a larger version, but when it's smaller it's a bit unclear what they are.

    Draft #4 & #7: I love the design, the only question is if I want to be associated with a lighthouse. Very nice design though.
