Options are: Possibly keep the original color green, yet use it in a unique way. I would like a metallic silver, or brushed silver somewhere. Maybe a silver ring around the logo, or maybe touches of silver here and there on the petals. I'm open to ideas! I don't want it to be too pretty. Must be sophisticated. Go to our website: www.dahliaonline.com for reference. I am using Benjamin Moore's "cactus flower" paint color on the house, and I could see this color mixed with shades of orangey pinks and lemon yellow. I also like denim blue, and the lighter color blue that is on our website: www.dahliaonline.com I also have thought using color just here and there on the petals. So, color as an accent, like it is now, but in a new way.
not sure
I would like a subtle watermark of our signature "dahlia diamond" which is on our website, at the top, and if you scroll over it, a story about it pops up: www.dahliaonline.com.
Please keep the logo very simple, very dramatic and memorable.
Maybe the dahlia flower should be more of a artist's rendering, or maybe more photographic quality, more realistic.
I love petals! Petals! Petals! Petals! Petals!
I had considered moving the dahlia bloom to the upper right of the design (enclosing the design in a brushed metallic silver ring), and having the same type of dahlia petals everywhere inside the ring, with a large "D" over the top.
Remove the swoosh over the "a", possibly.
I love the three dimensional quality of the dahlia flower in my original logo. It almost looks like the bloom "pops" off the page! I also love the rounded petals. I don't want spikey petals. No center dot in the dahlia.
What about a spiraling of petals outward?
