Zakti Integrated Health Solutions is the business name for my work as an integrative health coach who provides health coaching and stress management services and programs to individuals, groups and corporations. I am also a yoga therapist, yoga and meditation instructor and thai yoga body worker who teaches classes, workshops, leads healing retreats and provides educational programs to companies. Zakti is a Sanskrit word that means energy...powerful, forward moving energy of potential and transformation.

Health care reform is changing the way people consume health care. With a new emphasis on disease prevention rather than crisis intervention, integrative health coaches play an important role in helping folks make the health behavior changes doctors recommend. Health Coaching is a relatively new profession that requires educating the public and medical sectors. So a professional image is vital for Zakti, one that may appeal both to individuals and doctors/health professionals as well as human resource manager/wellness coordinators in the corporate arena.
I've owned a successful yoga studio for 16 years, but recently shut it down to pursue this. I am trained at Duke University's Integrated Medical Center, renowned for being on the cutting edge of integrative health. My success in yoga leaves me with a brand recognition, reputation and network that I want to leverage as I launch this. The name of my yoga studio was Moving Mantra Yoga Studio.
