CT COSN Chapter - Conneticut Education Technology Leaders

CTETL

No

Connecticut Education Technology Leaders, Inc. is an association of Chief Technology Officers leading technology and innovation in Connecticut schools, grades k-12. We are a chapter of the national COSN Organization (www.cosn.org). We are envisioning a logo that incorporates a forward thinking approach of education with technology and innovation infused. Colors in the areas of blues, blacks, with gold highlights. Incorporation or possible incorporation of the letters CTETL as part of the image. Possible themes could use a circuit board, a sphere, light bulbs, or thought as examples. Keywords that describe the organization: innovation, technology, leadership, insight, illumination.

Thinking about 2 colors with a highlight color. Like the idea of using shades of blue in the logo with a highlight. But make your best decision.

not sure

It is most important for it to look modern and reflect the nature of education and technology.

Draft #33 - The image including the state outline is a great idea. Could you please update the image so that it indicates the last word as leaders -- leader' s' with the plural s on the end. Thanks.

Thank you for all the great additions. These look terrific. For draft #46 could you remove the graduation caps from that image? The organization is more about supporting adults responsible for technology not students. The image with at the graduation caps but keeping the rest (people and arch) is what we are looking to see. THANKS!

Additional feedback - #16 - We like the representation of people and are thinking that is the concept we would like to go with. Would it be possible to see the image using that concept replacing the letter C in the wording? #18 to #25 - At a second look we liked your use of the cap and book as representing of education.

Thank you all for your contributions. At this point we would rather not use a logo with a light bulb shape. That shape seems to be well used and not the innovative feel we are hoping for. #16,#17 - We like both of these concepts. Would it be possible to see what the logo would look like if it also included the full text "Connecticut Education Technology Leaders" under the initials? #14 - The shape was too similar to a shield. We would like to stay away from the ideas of a shield or similar hard shapes. #8 - The circuit board idea is a good idea. But the image to seems to be too "stand alone" from the initials. Could this be blended more? #5 - Liked this concept. The image was reflective of security but we thought a little too dominant. Could it be made smaller and possible shifted to the left of the text? Could the text include the full name as an option? THANK YOU!
