  Designers - Thank you all for your time and creativity. We will be giving individual feedback to each of you, as we can. In the meantime, I wanted to emphasize that we do not want to see designs that incorporate vector people, literal church icons; buildings, crosses, doves, etc... We are open to something more subtle, like the shadow of a cross. We are also seeing a lot of very abstract designs. Our intent in asking for abstract, was to avoid getting super literal images. In other words, we like the concept of using a bridge, but we don't want a clip art looking bridge. We also indicated we would like to see something vintage. By vintage, we do not mean a crest or cameo, but rather something rustic, maybe weathered looking, combined with something more traditional. Our church embodies a fairly diverse group of people, and we are hoping to convey that in our logo. Rustic, but polished. We also like the idea of incorporating the logo icon into the name of the church. We are not interested in a stacked logo, with an icon that sits on top of the church name. Finally, we provided a color palette. We want to stick with 2-3 colors. Combinations of green/blue, teal blue/brown or tan, dark green/gray, are some options. We are looking for rich colors. No red, orange, yellow, pink, purple, or fluorescent colors please. We are looking for something that depicts peace, calm, and strength.
