Hockey iQ Academy focuses on teaching the mental aspect of ice hockey to young players (primarily ages 5-15). We feel the marketplace is flooded with services which develop the young player physically but none that address the very important mental aspects of the game. We use primarily a classroom setting which ulitizes actual game video and interactive teaching methods.
We are encouraging them to become students of the game and providing a setting in which they can do so while being led by current and former ice hockey players who have played at higher levels including Division I college and professional.
We also do consulting work with individual players to analyze where their skills and deficiencies currenly are and to create a plan to address them.
