Include this tagline in my logo.

Describe who/what this design is about

This is a logo for an eSports team. If you're not familiar with eSports, it's essentially professional video-gaming. As eSports is a younger and more modern industry, I want the logo to feel modern and digital. What I am thinking / leaning toward personally is a digital sphere of sorts. For the digital aspect I've got something like this in my head. ( http://imgur.com/7745woS ) It's pixelated and neon and has a slight quality of randomness/chaos to it. For the sphere part, this is a pretty good starting point as far as examples go (http://imgur.com/OqVdAda) and it would just need to have that more random-torrent-of-drifting-code feel instead of perfect squares exploding from the center. I'm not opposed to the thought of the sphere cracking or breaking away like in the picture, but it's not a selling point for me or anything. I'd like the digital particles to be either deep blue or deep red with a more yellowish glow coming form the center of the sphere between the spaces in the particles. I'd like to try red first since it's the color associated with most Atlanta sports teams (Hawks, Braves, Falcons) but if it doesn't loos good blue is perfectly fine.
