Describe who/what this design is about

We are a specialty spinal care practice offering revolutionary surgical treatments for spine conditions. We had a logo designed some time ago but it is dated. We want to KEEP THE LOGO SIMILAR, but updated. The elements included in the current design are a spinal disc and a spine. "Atlantic Spinal Care" typestyle can and should be more contemporary. Colors can be changed or not - your preference. Any and all ideas are welcome.
