  Dear All, The below mentioned message received from Copyright Reporting which is self explanatory (Quote) Dear, As requested to you earlier, we would like to inform you that most of the designs submitted in your contest are derivative/copies of the Aladdin character of Disney. If you really want the graphic of the character “Aladdin” incorporated into your logo, please clearly ask the designers in the general comments section as you did earlier, to use the graphic in a way that it does not look like the one that is under Disney’s use: http://www.google.com.pk/search?tbm=isch&hl=en&source=hp&biw=1024&bih=653&q=aladdin&gbv=2&oq=aladdin&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=2624l3898l0l4208l7l6l0l0l0l0l0l0ll0l0 for instance, you can ask the designers to change his attire and facial expressions/features to an extent that they do not look like copies, furthermore this character/graphic has become a symbol and can be recognized even without the name “Aladdin” worldwide. If you do not want this graphic pls clarify that too, so the designers can work on the pattern you want them to. We would recommend you to ask the designers to move away from this graphic, as it may cause an issue post finalization if any of the derivative drafts is selected.   We have noticed thay many designers have used trademark/copyright design elements of Disney, these designers are requested to modify their designs to avoid any legal copyright claimes.
