Describe who/what this design is about

Needing a design for our Church Sign, Business Card, Letterhead, #10 Envelope. Something current, modern, friendly and welcoming, sophisticated and vibrant, alive and full of promise. Distinctive. Memorable. And timeless.
Scalable, looking good while as large as a billboard or as small as a dime. It looks good in color as well as black and white. And it is simple enough that it can be applied to a media spectrum as broad as paper to plastic and t-shirts to websites.

Thank you everyone for your contributions to this project. They were all very good which made our decision extremely difficult. But after much consideration we have decided to choose #136 as the winning design. Thanks once again.

It's jagged cos he doesn't know how to get the 'e' right in that font. That I guess is what makes an original and a copy different.

Our top design choices at this point are #135, #134, #136, #181. NOTE: #135, #134 the "e" needs to be fixed. #135 the sun/cross looks too much like clipart.

#135, we like the open door with the sun, but the sun looks too clipartsy. And the (e) in the word eight looks a little jagged.

All the designs look great. I wonder if someone can design a key symbol. An icon shaped like a key, if there is enough time that is. 238 makes me think of Acts 2:38 which I see as the key of salvation. Thanks everyone for your contributions to this project.

The colors doesent have to be silver/red. they can be other colors as well. i just happen to like the silver/black and red contrast

#128 has sudenly become one of my favorite. I'm not sure that cross symbol is working, though, but I absolutely love everything else about the design. Great job!

#79, #80 I like the idea of lines connecting the dots. It goes well with the theme, but it feels a little awkward, cluttery, unfinished. Can you try to define it more?
